My interest in photography began with a one-week summer class at a local college when I was in grade school. During my junior year of college, I realized that I wanted to major in photography, so I transferred to F.I.T. in NYC to pursue my degree. 

 

After graduation, I worked as a photo editor and researcher at several picture libraries in NYC, the last of which was Corbis Outline, which specialized in celebrity portraits. I was the photo editor for many highly esteemed photographers including; Andrew Eccles, Sante D'Orazio, Kwaku Alston, Ruven Afanador, and Davis Factor.

In 2010, my family moved to the suburbs of CT , and a few years later, my neighbor asked me to shoot her son's Bar Mitzvah. I loved it.

​It's an incredible day that's all about family and tradition. And for that day, I get the best seat in the house to all the day's events. Largely, my goal is to capture all the emotion of the day. All the love. The love of grandparents, parents, and friends. The expressive looks. The hugs. The excitement. The laughter.

I've had many clients tell me that they absolutely love the images from their event, but more than that, they appreciated ME. They liked how I interacted with their kids, how I was everywhere, how I kept things moving and upbeat, how I was out in the middle of the action, etc.  Yes, it's about getting great images, but it's more than that.
